Equity, diversity and inclusion

To achieve equity, we are committed to offering every child the opportunity to access the right musical experiences for them and their individual needs. Some children require additional support to take part, to continue to enjoy, and to achieve their individual goals. Ensuring a broad, diverse and authentic range of musical experiences is key to our success and central to our core values.

We believe music can bring together communities within the rich cultural heritage of Bedford Borough. By training and supporting our music educators and continuing to develop a diverse workforce, we aim to become truly representative of our local area: making our offer genuinely equitable, diverse and inclusive.
